5th and 7th grade students, members of the experimental group in Croatia, participated in a composting workshop led by teachers Ana Kolund and Sanja Vuksanović-Čančar. The aim of the workshop was to learn how to compost household biowaste in order to reduce the total amount of household waste and compost production.
By creating compost in this way, we reduce the need to purchase artificial soil improvers that have a detrimental effect on the soil.
The students collected all the necessary material at home, and at school they watched an educational video and did composting with great interest and desire to participate.
You can watch all the phases of this workshop in the video prepared by teacher Mateja Beck.
